camphor tree are wildely found in very deep jungles of western ghats of tamil nadu and kerala states in south india. it's use for its scent, ingredient for cooking in indian foods or flavouring in confections and for medicinal purpose such as slight local anethetic and antimicrobial substance. for the cosmetic it is readily absorbed through the skin and produces a feeling of cooling similar to that of menthol but longer than menthol.
