it was developed for use in cosmetic formula-tions with a skin-friendly ph value up to 5.5.
it has a broad, balanced spectrum of effect against bacteria, yeasts, and mould fungi as well as a good vapour phase effectiveness. as a result of the special preparation, the tendency to discolouration known for sorbic acid can be reduced or prevented. in addition, it can be stored for a longer period.
